This
is my first time reading a novel by Lex Martin and I found it to be a
really great read. I thought Tori and Ethan were really great together.
They had the right kind of chemistry between each other. Tori was a
great character. She was so funny and slightly awkward at times, but she
had so much love for her sister and Ethan’s children. She has had a
tough time in the past year and she is just trying to find her feet
again. I really loved her. Ethan is a hot, tattooed country man. He is a
single dad going through a divorce and he needs a nanny for his kids..
In steps Tori. I seriously loved the kids, Mila and Cody, they were so
great. I especially loved the diner scene with Mila voicing what Ethan
and Tori get up to. It made me laugh so hard!
The story was really well written and the characters had a lot of depth to them. The story line was great and it gave the story a really nice flow to it. I got a little emotional a couple of times through the story, reached for my tissues. The book also had some really funny parts in them, and trust me they were laugh out loud funnies! The ending was good although I would have like to have seen a reunion with the kids. That would have been nice, but the epilogue definitely made up for it, I loved it! A great way to end such a great book! I can’t wait to read more from Lex Martin and also can’t wait to see if Logan gets his happy ending!
