Review - If You Say So - Lani Lynn Vale

Gabriel Luca Maldonado, III and Francesca Leandra Solomon were meant to be. They were so in love that everybody prayed for what they had.
Everything was glorious. They would get married, have children and live a perfect life. She would be a doctor in the emergency room once she finished her doctorate, and he would be a badass Navy SEAL and save people for a living.
But then Luca is deployed across the world, and per military regulations, Frankie isn’t allowed to follow.
They’ve overcome a lot in their short relationship, and they can overcome this, too. Two years was a piece of cake. She’d finish her schooling and wait for him. And when he finally returned home, they would marry.
But two months into Luca’s deployment, the unthinkable happens, and Frankie is left alone and heartbroken, knowing that she’ll have to face the rest of life without Luca at her side.
***
Fast forward two years, and Frankie is exactly where her fiancΓ©’s father left her, in a pit of despair that she has no hope of ever finding her way out of.
She lives life one second at a time, depressed and alone, hoping tomorrow won’t hurt like today.
She finds a job, moves, and hopes that the nightmares won’t swallow her whole.
But just as she thinks that she’s getting better, one of her nightmares walks through the doors of her ER, and that nightmare has a name.
Gabriel Luca Maldonado, III. In the flesh.
Also healthy and whole, and definitely no longer missing.
Sadly, it only takes her a half a second to realize that the man that left her isn’t the same man that returned.
The old one wanted her. The new one? Well, he’s definitely not interested anymore.

Rating - πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ This Book!! I think this book is one of the most emotional reads I have had the pleasure of reading by this fantastic author. Not only was I completely captivated, but my heart wept for this couple. Just when you think you have it figured out, Ms Vale smacks you right in the feelings with a twist! GAHHH I loved it!

Frankie was such a strong woman! Not only had she endured so much, but she didn't let it drag her down, she just kept putting one foot in front of the other and kept going along the path she had set for herself, broken heart and all. I just love her so much.
Riel, as we know him by in parts of the book, has come back and everything has changed! He doesn't remember anything at all. Ahh my heart! this book!.

I don't want to say too much more because you seriously need to read this book for yourself. It is just amazing! I couldn't put it down at all. I need more! I am already having Lani Lynn Vale withdrawals. Bring on January!

Review - Devney Perry - Gypsy King

The former Tin Gypsy motorcycle club has everyone in Clifton Forge, Montana convinced they’ve locked their clubhouse doors and ripped off their patches. Everyone but Bryce Ryan. There’s more happening at the club’s garage than muscle car restorations and Harley rebuilds. Her instincts are screaming there’s a story—one she’s going to tell.

As the new owner of the small town’s newspaper, Bryce is hungry for more than birth announcements and obituaries. When a woman is brutally killed and all signs point to the Tin Gypsies, Bryce is determined to expose the club and their leader, Kingston “Dash” Slater, as murderers.

Bryce bests Dash match after match, disappointed her rugged and handsome opponent turns out to be an underwhelming adversary. Secrets are exposed. Truths defeat lies. Bryce is poised to win this battle in a landslide.

Then Dash breaks all the rules and tips the scales.

One kiss, and she’s fighting to save more than just her story.

She’s fighting to save her heart from the Gypsy King.

I loved this book so much!!! Just like all her other books, Devney Perry has written another phenomenal romance. This book is a little different to the ones I have read previously from her. It has a little suspense in it which I absolutely loved reading. It was also HOT! oh man, I freaking loved Dash! I want more of him!

Dash is swoon worthy, I swooned at this man's feet! He is an ex MC club president, and I don't have to tell you that there is this air about him that wards people off him. He is so broody and serious, but it just added to his appeal.
Bryce is such a strong heroine, but most of all the heroines written by this author are strong females we can't help but root for and love. Bryce is a reporter, so you know she gets her nose into places they should not be!

There is the suspense side, and although this book is a standalone, there is still somewhat of a cliffhanger here. It will most probably be somewhat answered in the next book, I hope. I am so excited to find out, especially after that sneak peak into book 2 of the series. All in all, this book was absolutely amazing and is definitely one I would recommend!

REVIEW - Just Roommates By Charity Ferrell

REVIEW
Just Roommates by Charity Ferrell

 BOOK BLURB

Our relationship starts as a game. I sneak into his bar underage. He kicks me out. Repeat.

Maliki Bridges is the town's hottest bar owner. He thinks I'm the mayor's troublesome daughter. I think he has a stick up his a**.

Once I turn twenty-one, we become friends. Nothing more ...

Until my world is turned upside down, and he offers me his guest bedroom. It's a bad idea, moving in with him, but any opportunity I get to be around him I'll take.

Consequences be damned.   Becoming roommates is the riskiest game we've ever played.

Rating - πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ Where has Charity Ferrell been hiding?!!!! I absolutely loved this book!! The story was different to those I have read recently and it was so refreshing to get something like this. The words flowed flawlessly for me, every word kept me captivated right until the very end. I read in every spare second I had, even if it was only 2 sentences at a time. I couldn't get enough!
Maliki was HOT!!!!! Why were bartenders not like this when I was growing up? I would have enjoyed my nights out more if they had been. I grew up in a small town too and they definitely didn't make them like this hottie! I liked his character a lot and got where he was coming from in a lot of situations. Sierra was your rebel. Maybe not an overly bad rebel, but a rebel all the same. She challenged Ki like no one else. I did want to slap her a couple of times though, like "Girl...Why?" But again, I understand where she was coming from.
There was a little but of a grey area that I think a few people might not be able to get past but I got past it fine. I loved the delicious tension between both Ki and Sierra. God it made me all giddy! Butterflies dancing in my stomach. This book is slow burn but the type of slow burn that you don't realize because it's just perfectly written. Every word this author put into this book was perfect for me and I WANT MORE!!!!!!!!! I need to know more and if I am correct we should be having Rex (Sierra's brother) and his friend next and I AM ALL THERE FOR IT!!! Bring it on. I can't wait to read more delicious words provided by this amazing new to me author.

EXCERPT

“I can read you like my favorite book, Sierra. I see you—the real you, and as much as you fight to hide every thought running through that pretty little head from me, I see it. Let me give you an example: Right now, I see how pissed you are at me.” I lower my tone. “I also see how much you want me.” She reaches down to dig her fingers into my hand resting on her thigh. “You’re so full of yourself.” I raise a brow, staring up at her. “Am I lying?” “Maybe I can see through you. Maybe you’re the one who wants me.” “Trust me, you can’t read me.” She laughs. “Oh, but I can. Do you think I don’t notice your jealousy as much as mine? That I don’t see how you have to snap yourself out of your feelings for me? You want me as much as I want you, Maliki. The problem is you’re too chicken shit to do anything about it.” “Too chicken shit?” “Too fucking chicken shit.” My lips crash into hers. Chicken shit, my ass.

Review - Piper Rayne - Falling For my Brother's Bestfriend

Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.

Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.

Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.

Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.

Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)

Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen minutes—a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.

Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don’t notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.

Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

It's Liam and Savannah's turn!! WOOHOO! I loved this book. Savannah has taken a lot on her shoulders and she deserves all the happiness in the world. After something tragic happened to the Bailey's, Savannah and her Brother, Austin, became the caregivers for their siblings. This made Sav who she is today.

What I love about this book is the amount of Heart Liam has. He is amazing, he is caring, he would give you the shirt off your back if you needed it. The way he is with Sav is just beautiful. I love how this book is about being true to who you really are, to what you really want. To just let go and let things be. This book sends powerful messages the whole way throughout.

Piper Rayne is one of my go to author's. I love everything they do. I can't wait to get my hands on the next one because I know that it is just going to be as perfect as the rest of them! Bring on Denver!

Review - Sinners Are Winners by Lani Lynn Vale

He saw her from across a crowded ballpark and knew she was about to change his life.
Yes, he realizes just how clichΓ© that really is, but the moment his eyes locked on her, he knew that she was the one.
At least, the one that royally screwed him over. The one responsible for his demotion and the subsequent disciplinary action taken against him before he’d even gotten out of the probationary period with Kilgore Police Department.

It all started with a kiss.
***
Saylor Rae Spada tried to mind her business. She also tried to not get involved in petty disputes.
However, from the moment she saw him sitting next to her at a professional baseball game, a game she didn’t even want to be at but was dragged to by her blind date, she couldn’t look away.
Then the kiss cam came on, featuring none other than her and the handsome stranger.
Without missing a beat, he kissed her.
Then her blind date decided to pull a knife and try to stab him.
From that point forward, she’s done nothing but cause him trouble.
Trouble that he’s starting to find increasingly adorable.

Lani Lynn Vale does it again. She makes me fall in love with her writing even more with every book I pick up. This book has everything I love about this authors books. It's got that little bit of suspense, a whole lot of laughs, a bearded hottie who you just can't get enough of!! And of course that sweet and sassy heroine who fits her hero like a glove. I just can't get enough.

Saylor and Lock were perfect from the start. I love how caring these characters are towards each other and I love how every character is linked to one another, in every book!! It just makes it all the more enjoyable to read. I had some really good laughs through this one, and I could not put it down at all.

Talk about hot hot hot as well. Saylor and Lock were burning up the pages! I can't wait until the next one because I am SO intrigued!! I need to know! I will await it with bated breath!
