RELEASE BLITZ Fixing Her by Miranda Elaine

Fixing Her, an all-new friends to lovers romance from debut author Miranda Elaine is LIVE!

When we were younger, Temperance Price was the quiet girl with dreamy eyes who hung on my every word. She was always beautiful, but I had plans to get out of Red Oak and make a life of my own.
Ten years later, a crushing tragedy has brought me home again—right back to her.
The innocent girl I left is gone, and in her place is a sassy single mom I can’t get out of my head. She’s hired me to fix her house, but I have other things in mind.
She thinks I’m just a handyman.
She thinks we’re only friends.
She thinks I’ve never noticed her.

RELEASE AND REVIEW Trick Play by Eden Finley

Release Date: June 27, 2018
Cover Design: Kellie Dennis / Book Cover by Design

Want to know the fastest way to get screwed out of a football career? Get photographed in a compromising position in a gay bar. Yep, welcome to my life.  My agent says he can fix my image. He wants me to become the poster boy for gay football players. Me? I just want back on the field. I’ll do anything to play for the NFL again, even pretend to have a steady boyfriend. If only my fake boyfriend wasn’t Noah Huntington III—the most arrogant, entitled rich guy in the world.

Pretend to be Matt Jackson’s boyfriend, my best friend said. It’ll be fun, he said. What Damon neglected to mention is Matt is surly and bitter. Being his boyfriend is a job in itself. From his paranoia over being constantly photographed to his aversion to PDA, being with Matt isn’t the care-free fake relationship I expected when I signed on to do this.  It’s supposed to be a win-win. I get to stick it to my politician dad who thinks no one is good enough for the Huntington name, and Matt’s reputation of being the bad boy of football dies. What I don’t expect is to start caring for the guy. That’s not part of the plan. Then again, neither is fooling around with him on my private jet.  Oops.

YESSS!!! It is finally here and finally in my hands! Oh this book!! Matt and Noah!!! I have been really anticipating the release of this story. I am so happy that the time to read it has finally arrived. The first story to this series was absolutely amazing, so I knew that this one would be just as good!

I loved Noah, I really did. I loved his sarcastic nature, his ability to charm the pants of anyone around him, and I loved his caring nature. He is just such a great character. And I think he was the perfect match to our cranky character Matt (not Matthew!). Matt starts out so cranky, so depressed, and not at all the type of person you want to hang around too much. But this is a given due to what happened to him. As the story goes on we see the true nature of Matt and I just love him so much. These two are thrown into a fake relationship together. You can feel the sexual tension between them, and these two smoked up my kindle more than a few times. Phew!! Hot hot hot! I also love JJ!! I really REALLY can not wait until he gets a story of his own, because I need more of him!

This book grabbed my attention right from the get go. I devoured it pretty quickly, I never wanted to put it down. Eden is an amazing writer and each one of her books that I have read, I have loved. And in true Eden fashion, this book has ALL the feels. Happiness, sadness, crankiness, hope, love..... it has it all. I had a little teary here and there while reading it. This is another one for my shelf! Oh I can not wait for the next book in this series to come out. I already anticipate the release of it, I just know its going to be as amazing as the last two. Fall in love with Matt and Noah just as I did!

Anywhere With You was a really cute and quick story. It is the first from Christina for me but I really enjoyed reading it. The story follows Teegan who is sick of going to all her friends weddings alone, and Wes, the bride's ex who is out for revenge.

Teegan is quite, she isn't as outgoing as the rest of her sorority sisters. I felt for her character. I could see a little bit of me in her. Wes is the complete opposite of Teegan. He is outgoing, always sort after by the opposite sex, and charismatic. I felt the underlying tension between the two main characters, it really made the story quite exciting. I liked these two together.

I did feel that Teegan wanted too much too soon. I also felt that maybe Wes wasn't as far along as what Teegan was towards the end. It seemed a little rushed to me. But other than that I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more from this author

She peeked a glance up at him, catching mostly only a broad shoulder because of his height. His long arms swung at his sides and his posture stern as he stared at the romantic beach scene in front of them.
They were about thirty feet from the other guests when Wes slipped his hand into hers.
She stiffened on contact and her brain shut down.
Low, so only she could hear, he said, "We have to sell it, remember?"
She nodded, not trusting herself to say anything while her heart did backhand springs in her rib cage. Holy crap. She was totally holding Wes Stevenson’s hand.
And she totally sounded like a teenybopper thinking that.
Be cool, Tee. Be cool.
It was going to be tough though since her version of cool had never been anything close to his. Or anyone else's for that matter.
Standing up straighter, she closed her hand around his, taking in the feel of skin against skin. The closer they got to the already filled area, the more erratic her heartbeat became. She was going to face Juliet, her family, and friends. And they were all going to chastise Teegan for bringing Wes.
Damn. She wished she'd thought about that before this moment. She could've feigned sickness for the entire weekend. What was going around right now? Yellow fever? Malaria? She'd even take a good case of salmonella. Anything to get her out of seeing the judgment in everyone's eyes. The same judgment she saw at every other Delta Gam wedding she'd attended.
With a date, without a didn't matter. It followed Teegan anyway.
The man in question didn't seem bothered by their impending fate. He stood tall and wore a confident smile. Zero nerves radiated off him.
The Ice Box, they'd called him on the football field. Because he was always cool under pressure. Man, what she wouldn't give to have some of that superpower right now.
He squeezed her hand, which made her look up at him. He lifted his chin, gesturing in front of them. She looked toward a receiving line that included the bride and groom.
Juliet and the man she'd left Wes for.
Excellent. Teegan couldn't wait to greet them both on this glorious, fantastic evening.
Why, oh why, had she agreed to this? It would’ve been better not to attend at all, rather than bring Juliet’s ex to Juliet’s wedding.
Oh, God. Her heart was beating at an unhealthy rate. She might faint.
Hey, that wasn’t a bad idea. If she fainted—
The hand attached to hers tightened.
Wes. She was doing this for Wes. Just think about that. This had to be a million times worse for him.

COMING SOON Fragile Tension by Irene Colabianchi

Title: Fragile Tension
Author: Irene Colabianchi
Genre: Contemporary romance

Release Date: July 17 2018
Edition/Formats: eBook and Print

Plot/ Synopsis:

Asher Keaston is a young airline pilot who is disappointed by his childhood and the loss of the most important person in his life.

Eleonor Meier is convinced that she can recuperate a reality of which she has no memory.

An encounter that is not really fortuitous between the two, convinces Asher that the only way to free himself of his past and live a torment-free future, is to destroy the beautiful and passionate woman who has taken over his memories and his desires.
Eleonor hates Asher's eyes, his intense and intrusive look, his oppressive and arrogant ways, but passion and fate will change their destiny once again, that destiny that had separated them four years before. Asher is convinced of his plan, but instead will find himself always more involved in what he actually feels for Eleonor, a desire that never died.
Eleonor will discover that there is a deep secret in Asher's eyes that could shock her existence. What if the destruction of Eleonor will be Asher's final condemnation?

I like to be admired by her… I look at her neckline while my hands caress her hips.
The smooth material excites me, running with my hands over her warm body takes me back to the night in Hector’s bathroom, when I felt my body against her, wishing to be naked and to taste her skin, her warmth, her smell.
I put my hands on her ribs.
She doesn’t stop me while I look at her with desire.
She looks intensely at my lips, and I would like to eat hers, bite them, lick them.
My hands are under her breasts, I stop and caress them up to her neck. I touch her neck up to her right earlobe, then with my thumb I touch her lower lip, caressing it.
It’s not possible to look at each other without desiring more, so I put my mouth on hers.
“Asher…” she whispers against my lips, closing her eyes.
I feel my blood boil, I feel my veins stretching vibrating under my skin.
I touch her leg with my knee, while our lips continue to move in a sensual dance, full of shivers and expectation…

RELEASE AND REVIEW Save The Date by Carrie Aarons

Title: Save the Date
Author: Carrie Aarons
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: June 24, 2018

You know that pact you make with your childhood best friend of the opposite sex? The one where, if you’re both still single, lonely and hopeless at thirty, you’ll marry each other?

This is the story about what happens when you hit the big three-oh and have to make good on that pinky promise.

Personally, I think love, romance and all of that nonsense is a crock of, well, you know. And Reese Collins, the boy who used to put worms in my hair at backyard barbecues, knows that better than anyone.

But when he moves to the same city I’ve happily, and singly, inhabited for years, memories of oaths past resurface. Reese is like a dog with a bone; a really hot dog and that bone just happens to be me.

He won’t stop hounding me, and the crazy thing is, my frigid, traitorous heart is starting to cave. For my best friend.

It seems so far off, when you’re a kid playing Monopoly in your treehouse. But when that clock strikes midnight on your thirtieth birthday, and you’re standing alone in front of a grocery store-bought cupcake, a childhood deal to walk down the aisle doesn’t seem so silly anymore.

Rating - πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

This is the first time I have read a book written by Carrie and after reading the blurb on Save The Date I was really looking forward to reading this one. I really wanted to love it but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me unfortunately. I didn’t connect to Erin at all. I liked Reese however. There are a few things within the story that didn’t really work on a whole for me. I won’t say which things didn’t click for me as I don’t want to give away any spoilers to the story.

Erin is a fashion blogger who made a pact at 15 with her male best friend. Reese is a male nurse working in NICU. I loved this about Reese! What a fantastic job. Erin and Reese connected on a friendship level but that was were it stopped for me. I didn’t feel that burning love, I didn’t feel the angst or anticipation of what was going to happen between them. They did make perfect best friends.

I thought most of the banter between the characters was funny. I caught myself smiling a few times during some of Reese’s antics. The book was quick and easy to read, I was able to read it within a few hours. Overall it was a moderate read for me. I’d like to look in on Carrie’s other work to see if I connect to another one of her stories a little better than I did with this one. I received an early copy of this book. The comments above are my own.

RELEASE BOOST Crazy Stupid Love by KL Grayson

Title: Crazy Stupid Love
A Dirty Dicks Standalone Novel
Author: K.L. Grayson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: June 20, 2018

There’s a special place in hell for a man like me—a man who shamelessly sleeps with his best friend’s little sister, knowing he’ll never be what she needs. A man who takes because the only thing he has to offer in return is a broken past that’s destined to destroy his future.

I was the kid who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks with shit parents and clothes that had been handed down one too many times. I stole to feed my sister, fought to protect her, and I’ll always be the guy your parents don’t want you to bring home.

So yeah, that’s me. Lincoln Bennett. Adley Allen’s walk on the wild side. Her dirty little secret. And I’m okay with that—ninety-nine percent of the time. Unfortunately today is in that one percent when it doesn’t sit well with me. For some strange reason, I want to be around to celebrate all of Adley’s successes. I want to be here when she gets her first job and take her out to dinner after her first shift. I want to be the one she depends on, the person she calls when she has a bad day. Or a great day. Or any kind of day.

I want more than her body. I want her heart. But men like me don’t get women like her.

At least not to keep.

Title: Stud
Series: Dragon Runners #2
Author: ML Nystrom
Publisher: Hot Tree Publishing
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 23, 2018

Bold and brash, Eva MacAteer has spent her life working in her blue-collar family’s construction business. In doing so, she’s had to fight for her own place away from her overbearing father, as well as for her own identity as a woman. Struggling between her loyalty to her brothers and her desire to strike out to be her own person, Eva knows one thing for certain: getting involved with a womanizer, no matter how hot he may be, is not the path for her.

Stud is not one to be tied down to any woman. Fiercely loyal to the club and his single ways, the last thing he expects is to become fascinated by the fiery Eva. He sees his own life reflected in hers and is not quite sure how to handle the connection.

Can two mismatched people find enough common ground to overcome their fears and allow love to grow?

Rating - πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ

Well let me start by saying I absolutely loved Mute, the first book in this series so I was eagerly waiting for Stud to be released. When I started reading Stud I couldn’t quite connect to the storyline. I really REALLY wanted to love it. It wasn’t until about the 20% mark that things picked up slightly for me. I was waiting for things to happen, anticipating what might be but it all fell short and I felt a little disappointed. I didn’t find Stud as charismatic as I did when he was in Mute. Maybe I could have connected better with him if there was more in Stud’s point of view. It was mainly written in Eva’s POV. I also didn’t feel the love connection between Eva and Stud, I felt their friendship but not their love.

I found most of the banter quite funny through the book, unless it was Eva’s brothers, most of her brothers were nasty to her. I liked Eva’s character. She was funny, likeable , and didn’t hide the truth from anyone. I actually felt a lot more of a connection to Table than I did to Stud. Stud’s family, wow, they are going to shock you that’s for sure!

I love this motorcycle club and I love that the members are finding their happy ever after so I can’t wait until the next instalment comes out! I received an early copy of this book. The comments above are my own.
