Drew

It was a tryst.
A sin swallowed down by desire.

That’s what I tell myself.
But my body isn’t the only part that
aches for him now.

I sold my soul.
Now my heart is a slave to the devil.
Dominic King.

He unveiled the taboo,
illuminating my lie
and unexpectedly stole my heart.

But I walked away.

Dominic

Lust is my religion.
She became my sanctuary.

If it’s forgiveness she seeks
the price just doubled.

And she’ll pay it bound at my feet.

I gave her pain for pleasure.
Her truth.

Now I’ll make her beg me for more.

This book is so deliciously dark and tantalizing. This is the first book in a series about the 7 deadly sins, Truth is about the sin 'Lust'. I just know that every book in the series is going to knock my socks off and I just really loved the way this story went.

King is such a formidable character. He inspires fear within people just by a look. He has a past that has made it this way. He is possessive, passionate and is actually such a sweetheart of a man once you get past his walls. I just love King!!

Drew is so sassy. I really like how she took her life back and didn't let anyone dictate her. She is strong, she is driven and she gets what she wants through hard work. She makes a perfect heroine for our hero King.

King and Drew are made for each other, you could feel it through the writing. Their scenes are scorching, and packed full of excitement. King was so sweet towards Drew that I had a smile on my face during many of the scenes. His words made my heart soar.

I liked the other characters within the book and I can not wait to find out more about them, well I am hoping we will hear more about them. I am rooting for a Luca book! And maybe even a Dante! Truth flowed well and I could not put it down. I was captivated by the writing. I loved every second and didn't want it to end. So here I wait patiently for the next sin. I am so ready!

Excerpt

“What are you willing to give me?” Because I want it all.
“I’m undecided.” I hate the look on his face. It’s fear, he’s afraid I’ll hurt him again.
“So just tell me to stop when I cross a line. I’ll only go as far as you trust me to go. Deal.” He nods his head hesitantly as my hand finds the top button of his shirt, I undo it slowly making my way to each before his shirt is completely undone. I only stop to briefly trace the tattoo on his chest. God, I missed this body. His twelve pack casts a heavy shadow from beneath the shirt and I run my fingers over his rock-hard stomach and up to his chest, leaning in to kiss the tattooed area.
“This okay?” I ask from pressed lips against his chest pulling back to look into his eyes.
“Fucking you isn’t my problem. It’s what to do with you after.” Smacking his drink down on the bar top he puts his hands on my waist, walking me backward away from the bar and then jerks me forward eliciting a surprised yelp as I’m hoisted over his shoulder. “See that’s the problem” bringing his hand down on my ass hard, “The way I see it, this is all you get. I’ll give you my cock but that’s it. That’s the only deal I’ll make with you. Take it or leave it.” It’s a start.
Without a hesitation I whisper, “Take it. But it won’t be enough.” He places me back on my feet and looks me up and down, his expression mirrors my own frustration.
“I hate that fucking outfit. I want you naked. Now.” His words leave little room for debate.
“What? What's wrong with my outfit?” I look at him like he’s lost his mind.
“It restricts access...” crossing his arms he grins, waiting for me to disrobe.
“I’m not taking off my clothes in the middle of this room.” He has lost his mind.
“We’re alone and last I checked it’s a fucking sex club. Take your goddamn clothes off so I can bury my dick inside that tight wet pussy, Drew.”
I’m fucking dripping the minute he growls at me but I take all the time in the world, slipping off each shoulder giving my tyrant his own private show. The more time I take the more his jaw tenses. God, I love riling this man up.
“You realize the longer you take the harsher the punishment. I will take out every one of the seconds, on that ass tonight.”
“Promises, promises.” I challenge back. He grabs his cock adjusting the bulge, groaning with the motion.
“You have ten seconds to get it off then I’m ripping it off myself.” His demeanor couldn’t be more serious. He will tear this very expensive, amazing outfit off my body without so much as a second thought.
“Ten.” I start on one of my heels unhitching the ankle strap.
“Nine.” finishing, I move to the other.
“Eight.” The strap around my ankle gets stuck as I start to panic. I’m never going to make it. Fuck! I'm so hot, I don't know which outcome I want more. His punishment or my victory.
“Seven.” Fuck it, I rip it off my foot and pull down my right shoulder strap starting to shimmy.
“Six.” I start looking around the room, “Five.” I scope out where I could go to buy some more time. “Four.” I love this outfit.
“Three.” Son-of-a-bitch.
“Two.” Struggling with the zipper it finally comes loose and I push my jumpsuit down to my ankles.
“One.”

A game of truth or dare leads to a wild night and a relationship that has our feelings growing into something bigger than any of us intended. But what happens when our feelings deepen? RATING - πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ
Holy heck! You know, I didn’t even read the blurb on this one. I had read that it was a MMF type romance and I just knew I wanted to dive into it. I had never read a book written by this author before but I am delighted to say she has found a fan for life!

I was expecting one thing about this story, hot MMF scenes, and that is what I got. It. Was. Hot! I did not however, expect the twist that I got. But oh my goodness this book just hit my top favourite reads EVER.
I loved the swirls of emotions from all the characters, it all felt so real. Real reactions, real connections, real angst. I just loved it ALL.

I want to say so much about this story but I do not want to give anything away so I will just stick to vague reviewing! I loved the characters, they made me feel so much. I was hurt for Jackson a couple of times but those times were redeemed and I understood why they happened. I can not wait to read more from this author, and I am so excited that I have many books of hers to go back and read. This book is worth 100 stars out of 5 for me.

REVIEW - Heath by K Webster and Nikki Ash

Heath

A modern telling of a classic tale... This isn’t a typical love story. This is a story of what happens when love is so powerful and all-consuming that it has the ability to destroy everyone involved. It’s definitely not pretty and it’s certainly not a fairytale, but it’s their story and it couldn’t be told any other way.

Well! What a drama packed, intense story! They said it wasn’t a normal HEA type story, and they were not wrong. I think the authors of this book have done a fantastic job. I enjoyed most of this story a lot. It was gripping and intriguing.

Heath come to the Crenshaw household as a child after being found homeless. Since then he has had a very close friendship with Catrina, Best friends which would later become something more that is fierce and intense. Heath is very passionate about Catrina.
Catrina, I must say, is a character I could not connect with. Truthfully, I found it hard to get through her scenes because of the way she acted. She definitely had one set of rules for her and another set for everyone else around her. The way she treated Heath upset me, and because of this it set Heath on a path of destruction.
Cat was a sweetheart, I liked her and I also loved Harrison. These two made the story even more captivating. I was rooting for them right from the start of their story. And Theo, well I would have liked to have known what actually happened in the end with him. And I have questions surrounding Francesca.

This book started off making me want to jump inside the book and having a quite word with Catrina. But this book just kept getting better and better as I read on. It was like having 3 stories in one. But one of those stories ripped my heart out and broke it into a million tiny pieces. I cried, I cried SO MUCH by the end. Oh, this story was so heartbreaking in parts. I felt for Heath so much, no wonder he was the way he was. And when it all came to the peak at the end, OH MY GOD. And Heath’s epilogue... **cue ugly cry** I literally bawled my eyes out like a child, seriously! This book is a lot different to the usual books we read, which makes it so refreshing. The authors have done a fantastic job in making sure this booked flowed well. I would not have guessed that it was written by two people. Even with all the ups and downs, this book is definitely a 5 star read. Take a chance and grab your copy of HEATH

RELEASE AND REVIEW Crushing On The Cop by Piper Rayne

RELEASE AND REVIEW

CRUSHING ON THE COP

BY PIPER RAYNE

Cristian Bianco has two things against him—he’s a police officer and he’s a police officer in the 18th District…meaning my dad is his boss. Growing up as the Commander’s daughter and having his magnifying glass focused on everything I did was more than I could handle. Now, I’m out on my own, living by my own rules. Well, mostly. The ‘job’ I created for myself has me in some hot water and my exit strategy isn’t exactly working out how I’d hoped. Which is why when my best friend bids on Cristian for me at a charity bachelor auction, I’m not having it. A man in blue is only going to be one thing for me—a problem. Except after his brother starts dating my best friend he becomes harder to ignore. The eight-pack abs. The sense of style only a girl like me can appreciate. The way he puts his family first. It all adds up to make him one irresistible prospect and has me wondering if he knows how to use those handcuffs the right way—by locking my wrists to his headboard.

I am loving the Bianco brothers series by Piper Rayne! These brothers are drool worthy that's for sure. Each brother has something about him that makes you swoon. Not only are they gorgeous but they are so sweet too! This book was such an enjoyable read, I really loved it.

Cristian is somewhat straight laced. He follows the rules and hardly steps out of turn, that is until Vanessa comes into his life. These two together are perfect. While Cristian follows the rules, Vanessa likes to rebel, so they end up bringing out the best in each other. They had that zing of passion, and you could feel their love for one another. I just love them both.

I loved seeing the other characters, they are always so fun to read about. I am really excited about Lauren and Luca's story coming up, I am intrigued! The authors always write such great books but the Bianco Brothers series would have to be my absolute favourite from them. I simply can not wait for more.

EXCERPT

“Not on duty tonight, officer?” I insert sarcasm into my tone because being a bitch will make it easier for him to keep his distance. “Well, Miss Flanagan, I’m off for two days if you’re wondering.” I step away from the keg allowing the lingering guys who are talking about hockey a chance to fill their cups. “That leaves me open for that date.” He cocks an eyebrow. My head falls back in defeat. “There is no date. You have a pass. Most guys would love the chance to get out of a date with the person who wins them at an auction.” He sips his beer. “I’m not most guys.” I sip my beer and don’t respond. He’s right. He’s not most guys. Most guys don’t look like he does. That or I’ve been hanging around the wrong places. “Some might say that most women would love to go on a date with a police officer.” “I’m not most women.” He laughs. One that heats my insides and makes him even more attractive. I know I’m going to be visualizing him the next time I pull out my Unicorn Cock vibrator, but I’ll deal like I always do. “I agree,” he says when he finishes laughing. “Perfect. Then it’s a deal. No date.” I smile and turn on my heel heading toward the bonfire. “Whoa.” His hand gently grabs my arm. I spin back around. “You know that’s not what I was saying. Come on, Vanessa. I need your dad off my back. One date. It’s not going to kill anyone.” I purse my lips, trying to figure out how I’m going to get him to let this topic go. I’ve had one police officer dictating my entire life already, I don’t need another. “Just lie,” I say with a shrug. His strong shoulders sag a bit and he shoots me a look like ‘give me a break.’ His eyes are those of an innocent man who probably always does the right thing. I’m doing him a favor keeping him at arm’s length. “Fine,” I say when the silence stretches out. He smiles. I hold a finger up into the air. “You do one thing tonight that you’d never normally do and I’ll go out with you.” I smirk. Let’s see Mr. Squeaky Clean take me up on that offer. I’m picturing my victory already. “What?” He screws his face up then sips his beer. I cross my arms around my middle, waiting for him to say no way so that I can move on. “You heard me. One spontaneous thing. Here. Tonight.” “Like what?” he asks, his eyes scanning the area around us that I now realize is quickly emptying out. Half these people probably have babysitters to get home to. I shrug. “That’s for you to decide.” His forehead bunches. “What do you want me to do? Jump over the fire or some shit like that?” “I’d prefer if you didn’t end up in the emergency room, so no, I don’t expect you to jump over a roaring fire. That would ruin Maddie and Mauro’s night.” A pissed off look crosses his face and he downs most of his beer. “That’s it, let’s go, Cris. It’s two against two and I need a guy.” Luca, Cristian’s little brother, twirls a soccer ball on his finger as he steps up to us. Lauren follows behind with a girl I don’t recognize. “What?” Cristian glares over at his brother. “I’m not playing soccer tonight in the pitch dark.” He has a point. “Come on Cris. Lauren says she can score five goals on me.” Luca glances over to Lauren who has a shit-eating grin on her face, and he rolls his eyes. Cristian blows out a breath. Lauren saddles up to my side, kicking the soccer ball from Luca’s hands. She does some fancy footwork then kicks the ball in the air before catching it. That girl has coordination I do not. “The answer is no. Find Bentley, he’s over there.” He points toward the bonfire. Luca must know his brother never does something he doesn’t want to do because he barrels away from us without a word. “What’s going on over here?” Lauren asks, walking backward, twirling the soccer ball on one finger like Luca was moments ago. “Nothing,” I say. “Lauren, what’s the craziest thing I can do tonight?” Cristian hollers out and Lauren’s feet stop, staring at me over his shoulder. She knows this game. We play it often. Well, not since college when guys tend to think they can say hello and you’ll be falling all over them. There’s nothing wrong with making them work to impress you a little. It builds character. LOL. Lauren being Lauren pretends to think about it. In the past, we’ve had guys shave their heads or their eyebrows, dress in girl’s clothing, striptease with a pair of girl’s panties on. God knows what Lauren’s going to recommend. “You’re a smart boy, Bianco. Turn the tables,” she says. “What’s the worst thing you could do to Vanessa tonight?” I flip her off. Nice friend I got there. Who wants her? A devilish smile creeps onto Cristian’s lips. “Anyone tell you, you’re a fucking genius, Lauren?” She laughs. “All the time. Tell your brother for me though.” Luca comes over, stealing the soccer ball from her hands, while a guy tripping over his own feet follows behind. The girl and guy standing on the sidelines watching Lauren and Luca argue about who goes first. “So, Officer Bianco, what will it be?” I cock a hip and a brow. “Maybe a date with you isn’t worth the embarrassment?” He steps closer and I back up an inch, unease setting in as his demeanor grows more confident and sure. I shrug. “That’s fine. I’m happy to split ways now.” He takes another giant step forward and sips the remaining beer from his cup, tossing it down to the grass, his gaze intense and set on whatever he’s about to do. “What are you doing?” I ask, my voice weaker than I’d prefer. We’re chest to chest now because he’s taken me by surprise and I forgot to flee with his approach. Okay and maybe his eyes mesmerized me. A little. Not much. “I’m going to do the one thing I didn’t think I’d do tonight.” His voice has dropped an octave and we’re alone in the darkness of the forest now where the warmth of the bonfire has disappeared. A cold chill runs across my cheeks until Cristian’s hands land on either side of my face. “I’m going to kiss you.” His lips fall to mine. Did I say it was cold? It’s not. It’s warm. Cristian’s mouth on mine steals the chill from my body. I should knee him in the balls or at least push him away, but I don’t. Instead, my lips betray me and move in time with his. I wrap my arms around his neck and I rise to my tiptoes, kissing him back. His arms cradle me flush against his body, his tongue exploring mine and under the canopy of the forest, away from any prying eyes, Cristian Bianco sets my body on fire. I love breaking other people’s rules, but I’m not sure about breaking my own.

REVIEW BLITZ Fall by Kristen Callihan

FALL

By Kristen Callihan

REVIEW BLITZ

The first time I met Jax Blackwood things went a little sideways. In my defense, I didn’t know he was Jax Blackwood—who expects a legendary rock star to be shopping for groceries? More importantly, a blizzard was coming and he was about to grab the last carton of mint-chocolate chip. Still, I might have walked away, but then he smugly dared me to try and take the coveted ice cream. So I kissed him. And distracted that mint-chip right out of his hands. Okay, it was a dirty move, but desperate times and all that. Besides, I never expected he’d be my new neighbor. An annoying neighbor who takes great pleasure in reminding me that I owe him ice cream but would happily accept more kisses as payment. An irresistible neighbor who keeps me up while playing guitar naked–spectacularly naked–in his living room. Clearly, avoidance is key. Except nothing about Jax is easy to ignore—not the way he makes me laugh, or that his particular brand of darkness matches mine, or how one look from him melts me faster than butter under a hot sun. Neither of us believes in love or forever. Yet we’re quickly becoming each other’s addiction. But we could be more. We could be everything. All we have to do is trust enough to fall.

Fall is the first book I have actually read from this series, and the first from this author. Fall told a tale of 2 broken souls coming together and finding an inner light in one another to help them through their darkest days. I can relate to some parts of this book. I know that feeling all too well, it sneaks up on you and holds you hostage. I think this subject was really great to talk about and there needs to be more awareness for Mental Health.

Jax/John is the singer in a rock band. He is funny, sweet and caring. He sometimes can not control how he feels which tends to make him go into his shell and not want to come out for anyone. Sometimes his days are darker then others.
Stella is perfect for John. She see's him for who he truly is. These two characters are hot together. This slow burn romance with a little bit of angst.

I liked reading this book. It was a little slow for me in some parts but I still really enjoyed it. All the characters were well written and deep. I got a little teary in a couple of parts of this book, and I really felt for both main characters and their back stories. I would love to see how Whip and Rye's stories progress. This book is definitely worth the read.

EXCERPT

The air between us shifts. I’m filled with a strange giddiness, wanting to laugh for the fun of it, but I’m also too warm, my limbs oddly heavy as if simple movements might be too much for me. His tone turns soft and cajoling, teasing the truth out of me. “Are you going to tell me what you do?” When I say nothing, the corners of his eyes crinkle. “I see. You’re going to torture me a bit.” The warm, fuzzy feeling grows as I shrug. “Torture feels apropos in this scenario.” He hums again, taking another step toward me. “What makes you think I won’t like being tortured by you?” The heat of his body and the scent of his skin makes my head light and my pulse pound. How did it get to this point where the highlight of my day is flirting with Jax Blackwood? Despite the thrill, I know I’m in over my head. I haven’t gone out on a date in months because I form attachments, I get emotional, and then I hurt when they inevitably leave. And this man will leave. He is as bright and fleeting as a camera flash. I’ll be left with the image of him seared into my memory and nothing more. I tell myself all of this, the voice in my head as stern as possible. But it doesn’t make me back away. It doesn’t stop my body from somehow straining toward his without even moving. Because it might be stupid of me, but I want to feel something that isn’t planned. Something, for however briefly, that’s real. He’s too attuned to me not to notice. John’s lids lower as his attention slides down my body before easing back up to my face. Slowly, he rests his forearm on the wall beside my head. “Tell me, Stella,” he murmurs. “No,” I whisper back, flirting, even though I shouldn’t. His biceps bunch as he leans in, a smile dancing on his lips. “Tell.” My breasts graze his chest, and I feel it in my toes. “You’re crowding me.” I hate how breathy I sound. “Can’t help it.” His voice is a rumble, the heat of his breath playing over my skin. He ducks his head, drawing close until our lips nearly brush, and when he speaks again, his tone is almost conversational, except for the husky quality that touches deep within my core. “You smell like strawberries. Fucking delicious.” My lids flutter, and I swallow hard. “Ordinarily, I’d call you out on that clichΓ© but since I’ve been eating strawberries, you aren’t exactly wrong.” His chuckle is slow and easy, as he eases back and his gaze slowly travels over my face. “Were they sweet, Stella Button?” He’s looking at my mouth like he might try to find out. My lips tremble in response, and John tracks the movement, his breathing getting deeper, faster. “You have two freckles on your lips. One on the top lip and one on the bottom corner.” Those damn freckles. They were the bane of my adolescence. I hid them with lipstick and silently cursed whenever someone mentioned them. Freckles don’t have any feelings, but I swear it’s as if he’s touching them. “You’re just noticing this?” I try to make it sound like a joke, but it comes out weak and thready. His own lips quirk. “Oh, I noticed. It’s distracting as hell. They’re like two little dots of butter toffee. Makes me want to lick them, get a taste.” Oh, God. Lick them, please. I can almost feel it. I want to feel it. No. Bad Stella. Behave. John’s lips part a fraction like he just might take that taste. “Back off,” I whisper. And yet somehow my traitorous hands find their way to his sides, running over the waistband of his jeans, holding him there. John makes a sound deep in his throat and tilts his hips, pressing them against mine. A distinctly thick bulge nudges my belly. Both of us lose a breath, and then he’s closer, his cheek touching my temple. “You’ll have to let me go first.” My thumbs slide under the edge of his shirt and find smooth, taut skin. A tremor goes through his body. I try to think, search for what the hell we’ve been talking about. His lips brush the crest of my cheek as he murmurs against my skin. “Tell me what you do, Stella. You know you want to.” My smile feels illicit. Somehow the action is directly tied to all my happy parts, making them draw hot and tight. “I don’t think I do.” Another hum. “Liar. You’re dying to.”

Blurb

At forty, Lan Davis is looking for his damned picket fence and 2.5 kids. What he doesn’t expect is instead of a wife in the picture, his mind keeps conjuring up images of two men. One, his partner in the force, who is as straight as they came, the other an ex, who he’d hurt but never forgot.

After an incident leaves Lan injured, the two men rally around him… only maybe they shouldn’t have. It seems a medicated Lan is a truthful one.

Parker Wilding is pissed at the world. His anger builds when his partner refuses medical care after an attack. Instead, Lan entrusts his neighbour to take care of him—a guy Parker doesn’t trust. While he’s aware they share a history, when the past is revealed, the truth shocks the hell out of him.

Being emotionally crushed ten years ago, Easton Ravel hoped he would never have to see the man who broke him again. Hope is a fickle b*itch. This is the first book from this author that I have read, but it certainly will not be my last. I absolutely loved this story! It is a slow burning MMM romance. This book has such wonderful characters who I can not wait to go back and get to know more about. I also can not wait for future books from this series.

Lan is a bisexual police officer and 10 years ago he made a mistake that cost him his happiness. Lan is gruff, demanding but such a big teddy bear as well. He is so incredibly sweet with Easton, and over protective. He is also a softy when it comes to Parker.
Easton is a paramedic. Easton is definitely my favorite character through this whole book. He was shy, sweet and wore his heart on his sleeve. I love how different his personality was to Lan and Parker.
Parker is quite the angry guy. He uses this journey to find himself, to find what he wants and what he loves. After an upsetting childhood I am so happy he is able to go on and find the life he wants to lead.

The book is suspenseful, hot, and humorous. I had a bit of a giggle over some things Gamer did, or the others in the MC. They are such a close knit group and it makes me want to drop what I am doing and read the whole series right now. I highly recommend this book to MMM lovers! I completely loved it!

REVELING IN SIN

Book 3 in the Sin Trilogy

By Meghan March

Whitney Gable is the kind of woman you fight to the death to protect. To keep. To cherish. I’ve finally learned my lesson, and it’s time to prove I’m the man who’s worthy of her. I don’t care what it takes, because failure is not an option. No matter who or what stands in our way—this time, she’ll be mine forever

Oh my god! What a hell of a ride. What the beep just happened? This book was certainly a crazy ride. So many confessions, so many secrets, so much action. I absolutely LOVED every single second of it. This is the EPIC conclusion to the Sin trilogy and oh my goodness are you in for a treat!

The crazy twists and turns caught me off guard and seriously surprised me. I didn't know what to expect when I started reading, but I would never have guessed what did happen. You can feel the heartache, the pain, the sadness, all through Ms March's words. The author has done the most fantastic job writing this book, her words are just intoxicating, They stir the excitement deep inside me! The book held me captive until I have read the whole way through, I could not put it down for anything, I am lucky I didn't need to be anywhere.

I can't wait to read more from this author. I really loved this trilogy and hope that Lincoln's sister is going to find her beast. I need more from this author cause I am already having withdrawals! Love love LOVED this book.

DEVOUR THE TRILOGY

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March comes a brand new saga of forbidden love and second chances.   A Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after. Our family feud is the stuff of legends. Ten years ago, Whitney Gable caught me off guard with her long legs and grab-you-by-the-balls blue eyes. I didn’t know or care what her name was. Like any Riscoff worth the family name, I went after what I wanted. We burned like a flash fire until she married another man. She hates me, and she should. I objected on her wedding day. Now she’s home, with those same long legs and man-eater stare, but there’s no ring on her finger. They say a Riscoff and a Gable can never live happily ever after . . . but I’m not done with Whitney Gable. I’ll never be done with her. iBooks | Amazon US | Amazon UK | Amazon AU | Amazon CA

Guilty until proven innocent. That’s the way the world works, right? I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable. The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules. If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.
