Ah the series is ending and I am sad!! I have loved this series by this author. Full disclosure, Rules did take me a little bit to get into, I know it runs parallel with the previous book in the series, but for some reason the first 30 percent didn't grab me the same as the previous books. I am not sure why this was. I would say it's due to how I was feeling at the time, and had nothing to actually do with this author's beautiful writing or her characters. The other 70 percent captivated me so much I barely put the book down. I devoured it. Every single word.

I cried all the tears with this book! Oh my goodness was it emotional. All the things that Brook had been through broke my heart into a million tiny pieces, I was so happy that Max was there to put those bits back together as best as he could. My heart!!! And those twists!!! Talk about surprise, I definitely was not expecting those. This book is beautifully written, and is a captivating story. I will miss this series now that it's time to say good bye. I would love to see a bit of an extended epilogue at some stage where everyone is older and living their HEA's together! I would love to see where they are now.
