Heath
by K Webster and Nikki Ash Publication Date: October 25, 2018 Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance
A modern telling of a classic tale... This isn’t a typical love story. This is a story of what happens when love is so powerful and all-consuming that it has the ability to destroy everyone involved. It’s definitely not pretty and it’s certainly not a fairytale, but it’s their story and it couldn’t be told any other way.

Well!
What a drama packed, intense story! They said it wasn’t a normal HEA
type story, and they were not wrong. I think the authors of this book
have done a fantastic job. I enjoyed most of this story a lot. It was
gripping and intriguing.
Heath come to the Crenshaw household as a child after being found homeless. Since then he has had a very close friendship with Catrina, Best friends which would later become something more that is fierce and intense. Heath is very passionate about Catrina.
Catrina, I must say, is a character I could not connect with. Truthfully, I found it hard to get through her scenes because of the way she acted. She definitely had one set of rules for her and another set for everyone else around her. The way she treated Heath upset me, and because of this it set Heath on a path of destruction.
Cat was a sweetheart, I liked her and I also loved Harrison. These two made the story even more captivating. I was rooting for them right from the start of their story. And Theo, well I would have liked to have known what actually happened in the end with him. And I have questions surrounding Francesca.
This book started off making me want to jump inside the book and having a quite word with Catrina. But this book just kept getting better and better as I read on. It was like having 3 stories in one. But one of those stories ripped my heart out and broke it into a million tiny pieces. I cried, I cried SO MUCH by the end. Oh, this story was so heartbreaking in parts. I felt for Heath so much, no wonder he was the way he was. And when it all came to the peak at the end, OH MY GOD. And Heath’s epilogue... **cue ugly cry** I literally bawled my eyes out like a child, seriously! This book is a lot different to the usual books we read, which makes it so refreshing. The authors have done a fantastic job in making sure this booked flowed well. I would not have guessed that it was written by two people. Even with all the ups and downs, this book is definitely a 5 star read. Take a chance and grab your copy of HEATH
