RELEASE BLITZ AND REVIEW Whiskey Lullaby by Stevie J Cole

RELEASE BLITZ

WHISKEY LULLABY by STEVIE J. COLE

Whiskey Lullaby, an all new sexy and emotional standalone

by Stevie J. Cole is NOW LIVE!

Synopsis –

We all have guilty pleasures.
Mine was the boy my father took in. The guy everyone said I was too good for. The one I knew would ruin me.
But I couldn't help it. The way Noah Greyson's voice sounded when he sang whiskey lullabies to me in the dark; how perfect his arms felt wrapped around my stomach, his nose nuzzled in my hair- that's what made me fall. That intimacy was what made me so very weak. But now millions of women drift off to sleep while Noah sings the love story we wrote, and it was never meant for the world.
The worst mistake I made wasn’t loving him, it was thinking he loved me, too.
At least, that’s what I thought until now…

Excerpt

Noah,
We were friends. Lovers. Soulmates… and very horrible people together.
I wonder, have you forgotten me by now? Have you forgotten the promises we made to each other?
Do you remember the person I became, how I fell for you even though I knew it would kill me to love someone like you? I knew better, Noah. I did. And this letter isn’t to admonish you or tear you down. No, it’s to make you see what you do to the people you say you care so deeply for.
When I was with you, you made me feel safe and loved and wonderful, but in the end, I felt stupid and so vulnerable. I want to believe you never meant to hurt me; that you never meant to make me hate you. I want to believe all the things you said were true, but it’s hard for me. With everything I’ve found out since we didn’t say goodbye, you must understand why I wish I could forget you. I will forever hate that I was so weak for you, but I was only weak because I loved you. Despite it all.
I'll always love you.
Hannah

Review

★★★★★ - 5 Stars

This is the first time I have actually read a book written by Stevie J Cole, and if this book is anything like her other books, then I can’t wait to read what else she has written! This book is so beautifully written that I could not take my eyes off the pages. I wanted to devour it in one sitting.

Hannah is such a sweetheart of a character. She is always making sure everyone is happy around her, even if that means sacrificing her happiness to do so. She kind of reminds me a lot of myself in that aspect. Noah is such a great male character. He is a little broken, he’s a bad boy and a bit of a player. Besides all of that he is such a sweetheart! The way he cares for his grandma is beautiful and when he loves he loves with everything he has. Grandma Doris is one of the best characters! She is so funny and sassy, I just loved her. I also laughed so much when Benji sang ‘Fat guy in a little coat’, oh that reminded me of so many happy memories from my childhood and the movie it goes along with!

This story had me giggling in parts but it also had me tearing up. It was the perfect balance of emotions. The chemistry between Hannah and Noah is definitely felt through this story and there was that anticipation within, waiting for what might happen between them. This story is just such a sweet slow burning romance and I absolutely loved it.

About Stevie J. Cole
Stevie J. Cole likes to write realistic stories with raw, gritty characters you should hate but can't help but to love. She's obsessed with rock music, loves sloths, and has an unnatural obsession with British accents.

Her books are not recommended for the faint of heart.
