I highly anticipated the release of this book. I was so excited when it hit my kindle. This book is the last book in the Adair Empire series and I am so glad to see it come to an end. I must admit that while this book was such a great dark, steamy read, I was left wanting a little more out of it by the end. I kind of felt that the ending was a little rushed, but other than that this book was so good and fed my Adair addiction!
The characters within this story all worked well together. I love being able to see past characters within a series show up so we can see how they are doing in their lives. I don’t want to say too much because you certainly need to read this series and read this final book. This series is just too amazing to overlook. I recommend it to absolutely everyone who is a lover of the dark romance genre.
Grasping For Air is steamy, it’s sexy and it is a bit angsty. KL Donn certainly brings us into a dark, raw world and leaves us panting for more. This is one series I will definitely be re-reading. I was captivated from the start and read the story quite quick! I should have read slower so I could make the book last longer, but once I started reading, I could not stop! If you are looking for a series that will captivate you from the first book to the last, then you definitely should give this series a go!
