love love love love LOVE this book, I am hanging on the edge of my seat
waiting for book 2! How will I survive the wait?? Another question is,
WHY has it taken me so long to read a book written by Meghan March?? I
have books on my kindle from her but I have not gotten a chance to read
them yet and I am seriously kicking myself for waiting so long! Now I
need everything she has ever written. Her writing takes me into a world I
don’t want to step foot out of. Her characters in this book are so
vivid they feel like I know them, they are written as if this is real
life and I am an outsider looking in. I absolutely love it!!
Lincoln is a Riscoff, while Whitney is a Gable. These two families HATE each other. We have a little bit of a Romeo and Juliet theme happening in this book, and it just makes it all the more intriguing! Their love is forbidden, and I am such a sucker for the forbidden love storyline! He is rich, while she is not which puts that extra element onto why they are forbidden to see each other. SO much happens in this book that it will pull you into the book and not let you go until the end. And I knew there would be a cliffhanger but I was like “NOOOOOOO” I need more, STAT!! OOhhh I can’t wait to get my hands on the second book.
This book made me feel every emotion written into the words. There was so much passion in the writing that it held me captive from the start until the end. I could feel Lincoln’s love, his heart ache. I could feel Whitney’s broken heart, and her hurt. I really wanted to say a thing or two to Lincoln’s mother, wow, that is all I can say! I love most of the side characters (Maybe not Karma, but I think there is a story behind her anger). Cricket is fun, Aunt Jackie is passionate, The old rivals made me laugh at their antics.
I simply can not wait until Book 2 is released. I wait with bated breath. I am really REALLY looking forward to getting into the other books from Ms March on my kindle as well. Ms March has definitely found a major fan in me!
