We finally got our Slate book!! I am beyond excited to finally be able to see Slate find love after a past that is better forgotten. Harleigh and Slate are just the perfect match of opposites and it's just adorable.
Slate's past is sad and not what you might think. As the story unfolds we find out some more valuable information about what actually happened. Slate is broody and seems cold but he is just a big teddy bear under it all.
Harleigh is feisty, she is haunted by something in her past and she can't help but be drawn to her hot neighbour.

I could not put this book down, it consumed every minute of my day. This author always seems to suck me into her stories. I never want to leave. I am already looking forward to the next one.
