Talk about bawl your eyes out. This story ripped my heart right out of
my chest. For the first 25% of this book I pretty much cried the whole
time. It was so heart breaking reading about Rome and his son. This book
is just amazing, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!
Rome is an ex football player, but now he has retired and become part of Bear Bottom Guardians MC. If you read the Simple Man series by Ms Vale, you would have met Roman in Tyler's story. I felt for Rome so much. my heart ached for him through this whole book.
Izzy has a secret. She hasn't had the best life, my heart hurt for her as well. These two characters are just so superbly written. All of the emotions just kept me captivated in their story. This would have to be one of my absolute favorites from this author.
When you pick up this book make sure you also grab your tissues, because you are going to need them, and I mean a lot of them. I was captivated from the very start of this book. I could not put it down at all and stayed up most of the night to finish it. It has a bit of suspense as well which kept me on the edge of my seat. I just loved this story so much! I can not wait for the next in the series.
