His world was water
and rhythm. Hard work and drive kept Royal O'Connell one step ahead of
his competition. His spot on the swim team, keeping his scholarship, was the
only plan that mattered.
His world was ebony
and ivory. Natural talent and ambition set Camden Morgan apart from the other
music majors. His dedication scoring him a full ride.
Normally, their
paths would have never crossed….
But when Royal
meets his best friend's new roommate, his big plan and Camden’s controlled
environment faces a variable that could destroy it all.
Attraction.
The world they live
in had no room for error. That undeniable pull between them was dangerous and
neither one of them could've prepared for the choice they'd have to make.
Love isn't always
an easy road and, when everything they've worked for is on the line, they'll
have to decide if being together is worth the risk.
*This is not a traditional duet*
*Not A Cliff Hanger*

I
just love collage romances. It's always where people start to discover
who they really are, what they really like, what path they want to take
in life, and that is a beautiful thing to watch and read about. This
book is no different. This is all about discovering who you really are
and being ok with that. This book was such a good, emotional read.
Camden is a piano genius, even though he would argue with that title. He is quite, reserved, and likes to listen to things around him. He was quite happy with all of this until Royal came crashing into his life. Camden has a sad backstory that has made him the way he is.
Royal is a talented swimmer. He is also really close to his twin Indie. He discovers something different when he looks at Camden, and when he listens to Camden play his piano. I really liked reading about these two, and the obstacles they faced.
There are some sad parts, but other parts that make your hear soar. This couple was just perfect. The read is a slow burn and although it took me a few chapters to get lost in the book, I loved this read. Indie's story will be interesting so I can not wait for that one as well.
