Tequila + you best friend + your bedroom = um, whoopsie?
Tequila Tequila, an all-new hilarious standalone romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!!
Don’t sleep with your best friend.
Take it from me. I did it. And it was awful.
I-wish-the-tequila-made-me-forget kind of bad.
The problem is, Luke has forgotten. He swears that he can’t remember a thing about that night beyond the trays of tequila shots being set on the tables.
Except I can’t forget. I can’t forget how good his hands felt until I fell over and hit my hip on the dresser, and I sure as hell can’t forget the entire two minutes of tap-tap-squirt.
Awkward. Embarrassing. And the new subject of a couple of dirty lucid dreams.
But I have no intention of telling him what we did. Nothing good comes from telling your best friend he’s the worst guy you’ve ever slept with.
Which makes the tequila on my birthday a very, very bad idea…

I
love friends to lovers romances, and I also love a good rom com, so I
knew I wanted to read this one as soon as I knew about it. I didn't
quite connect to the story however. I didn't laugh as much as I usually
do with books by this author. It was however still a good quick read.
I really liked Luke's character, he was fun, he had the craziest family, and he was a loyal friend. Also a little bit of a sweetheart when he wanted to be. Aspen was witty, but she seemed to love to argue with Luke a lot. Their relationship progresses rather slow, so this is definitely for all those slow burn romance lovers.
The really liked the story line, I like a good slow burn as well. I would have love to have seen more of a connection with the characters, I unfortunately could not feel much of one outside of their friendship. The story was a good quick read and I devoured it in one day. I look forward to seeing what else Ms Hart has in store for us!
