OH my heart.... How to break my heart in one day..... just get me to read this book! OH MY GOODNESS!!! Now before I read this book I knew it was going to be sad. Just by reading the blurb I knew it had the potential to completely wreak me. And guess what.... it did. My heart hurts for Hunter.. My heart hurts for Lennon.. but in a completely different way. While it hurts for what Lennon has lost, my heart hurts for Hunter with what he went through for the past 2 or so years.
This is a super slow burn book, which is expected given the premise of the story. Hunter has not been the nicest person to Lennon but heartbreak and tragedy bring them closer than ever before, which in turn makes things worse for poor Hunter. This is forbidden love at it's finest.. There are actually a few different tropes within this story.
The writing in this book just flows so beautifully. It kept me captivated with what was happening within the pages. I cried so much! The heartache I felt jumping out at me, the tears, the hurt... Tears, Tears, Tears! I really need book 2 now since this ending with a little bit of a cliffhanger.. I seriously want to know what is going on. I need to know! I can not wait to find out!
