The Kings are back! I really like this series. This book is all about Ford and Liv, and let me just say this couple had SO much against them. This book hits you right in your feelings, I may have got a little teary once. As always Maya delivers a book that keeps me captivated till the end.
Ford is quite. Not one to talk or be around others. He has always been there for Liv but now he would like it to be on a different level. Liv is younger than Ford but no by much . She has always had a crush on Ford but knows nothing will ever come of it. She has so much weight on her shoulders for a girl who is so young.
This book is a slow burn but done in a way that you don't notice. It is captivating from A -z and I loved that we got to see a lot from the rest of the Kings as well, and follow on from their stories. I really hope we get to see Max get a story as well. I loved that we also had a crossover with another one of this author's series. I can not wait for more.
